I struggled teaching my children to read and write. Many teachers have the same struggles. Since 1988, I have learned the Hidden Secrets of the Language. Spell to Write and Read will give your children the solid foundation. ESL students will also find SWR to be an invaluable tool.

Survey
I'm conducting an unofficial survey.
How many of you learned to spell Wednesday by remembering: WED NES DAY? I
I also learned how to spell it that way. To this day that is how I "think to spell" and I was never taught SWR:)LOL
P.S. don't feel bad about the typo, you don't even want to know what this looked like until I checked it before posting! I probably still missed something and won't see it until it's posted!
Me, too. I also remember have trouble with TOGETHER as a child -- so I figured out a think to spell TO GET HER. And, much to my mother's chagrin, my dad taught me a acronym for ARITHMETIC, which I still use to this day.
That is how I learned it and was the reason why I finally was okay with Think to Spell in SWR.
